I am a holistic nutrition consultant, natural chef, and the recipe developer/content creator behind Holistic Rendezvous. I am passionate about empowering women to live their best lives and embracing all that makes them unique!
In high school I became very involved in sustainability and loved the interaction of the health of the environment with the health of ourselves. I felt that if I could teach people how to live healthier lifestyles, it would also lead to the earth thriving as well!
What are the top 3 wellness hacks you can’t live without?
Blue light blocking glasses before bed, mineral salt in my water for hydration, and morning meditation
What inspires you?
I find new experiences to be extremely inspiring. I love traveling to new places and going on adventures!
What’s your favorite mocktail recipe to wind down?
Chamomile Lavender Lemonade! Below is the recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp chamomile flowers
- 1 cup water
- 1 oz lavender syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Boil water and pour it over chamomile flowers to steep for 10 minutes. Strain. Then add in a pinch of salt, 1 oz lemon juice, and 1 oz lavender syrup. Serve hot or iced!
You created a few different butterfly pea flower drinks on your IG account @holisticrendezvous. Is there one you’d like to share with us?
I love using butterfly pea flower in so many drinks as the color is absolutely gorgeous and magical! Lately, I have been enjoying the Magical Lemon Fizz! Below is the recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 tsp butterfly pea flower powder
- 1/4 cup water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp honey
- Pinch of salt
- Fresh ginger, grated
- Sparkling water
Recipe:
Mix lemon juice, salt, grated ginger (just a pinch)and honey and pour in a glass. Top with ice and pour over the sparkling water. Stir butterfly pea flower powder into the water and pour on top. Stir for the color changing magic!
